Equipment sharing
Taking advantage of the equipment sharing aspect of CPAWC can save jurisdictions thousands of dollars in rental fees for niche equipment that doesn’t justify the investment needed to purchase. CPAWC members are encouraged to maintain an updated list of equipment available for other members to borrow in accordance with the Intergovernmental Agreement for Equipment and Services. Equipment information changes/updates can be submitted to the leadership team and will be adjusted accordingly.
To borrow a piece of equipment members are to contact other members directly to make the request and discuss any details necessary in accordance with their home jurisdiction’s requirements and parameters of the IGA.
Annually, CPAWC will produce a summary report of borrowing/sharing transactions used by the members.
